Classes:

• Heavy Special Use: Truckers for hire (including contract and common carriers).
  
  
• Service Use: Vehicles used for transporting insured's personnel, tools, equipment and incidental supplies to/from job locations.
  
  
• Ultra Use: Vehicles parked for the majority of the working day (some artisan contractors), agricultural haulers and farm vehicles.
  
  
• Commercial Use: Truckers not for hire or any not otherwise classified above.

• Vehicles operated outside a 500-mile radius or operated outside of California
  
• Emergency vehicles
  
• Livery vehicles- public or private
  
• Vehicles used to haul hazardous/explosive materials
  
• Vehicles operating under time constraints- (i.e. pizza delivery, courier services)
  
• Security guard vehicles (if the drivers and/or passengers carry firearms)
  
• Vehicles that carry guard dogs
  
• Vehicles leased or rented to others by insured
  
• Drivers must be 24-67 years of age
  
• Mobile equipment
  
• Vehicles used as a living facility
  
• Trailer only policies (for liability)
  
• Units with booms or cranes
  
• Steel haulers or Garbage Trucks
  
• Pulling triple trailers
  
• Risks with more than 25% sub-haul exposure
  
• Vehicles not registered or garaged in California
  
• Unbaffled tank trucks with a carrying capacity exceeding 1400 gallons
  
• Vehicles used in underground mining, tunneling, and oil and gas drilling.

DAMAGE COMMERCIAL AUTO PHYSICAL DAMAGE

The stand-alone physical damage program is designed for commercial auto risks domiciled in California. The program encompasses a wide selection of vehicles ranging from a light pick-up truck to a tractor-trailer. Public livery and private passenger vehicles may be included as part of a fleet. The driver guidelines allow for inclusion of almost every type of driving record from age 21 and older. Various radius of use endorsements are available up to 11 western states.

Business Auto

The Business Auto program is a liability and physical damage program for light (0-10,000 GVW) and medium (10,001-20,000 GVW) vehicles. Risks must be domiciled in California and operate within a 300 mile radius. The preferred class of business is service type vehicles but the program will extend retail and commercial vehicles as well. Hauling for hire is a prohibited class. The driver guidelines are designed to accept most drivers regardless of MVR activity.
